I believe the policy is they have to prove the muffler delete caused the fault which they are denying warranty to which would make it a long shot for them to void it.

it doesn't. Unless they can prove that it caused something to mess up.

Why not?
Besides drone and a possible ticket, muffler delete provides some great sound, great weight savings(40-50 lbs), and cheap(<$150). Honestly the drone isnt too bad. you can have a conversation comfortably. Thats just me though, people say PE drones too much which i laugh at. and no it does not void warranty. |

only time it gets annoying is when your on the highway going between 70-80 just got my downpipes put on though and oh my god is the drone bad now lol, looking to put some branch resonators on soon, which should eliminate all drone.

Will not void warranty, love my muffler delete honestly. Favourite mod ! So much popping, especially going downhill and just keeping your foot lightly on the gas. I was worried about cops for the first month, but not anymore.

sounds really good imo... I put up a vid on youtube of my 335 right after getting the delete. I now have stock exhaust with bms catless dp's and it doesn't sound nearly as loud or good, just really raspy... for the price and ease of muff delete it is worth it. if you don't like it you can just throw it back on just as easy

Besides weight savings, why not just put some QTP cutouts or similar company prior to the mufflers. Loud when you want and close them for cruising with no drone?

You are always going to get mixed opinions when it comes to something like a muffler delete personally I had a muffler delete on my old e92 and it droned too much and even though at first I loved it .... It gave me headaches after a while so my 2 cents is don't do it!!

I went in with my muffler delete and no problems. And if you add some proper parts to your n55 stock exhaust you'll love it. I've had vanguard dinan rsd vavletronic and this has been my favorite set up. Vibrant resonators + side branched + 3inch muffler delete = no barely any drone and still sounds beasty. Less drone than my vanguard definitely. Plus I have downpipes.

With "Vibrant resonators + side branched + 3inch muffler delete" would this add any power. Or is it simply for sound? What allows other exhaust to add power that this wouldn't?

resonator is only to muffle sound/rasp. side branching it will also help with drone/vibration. Muffler delete does not add power but forsurely a good amount of weight savings. downpipe will be the only "power maker" for our exhaust systems. |
