193m increased diameter fitment

Folks,

New to this tire calculator and would like to know if I can buy slightly larger OD tire for following reason:

Better looking fill of wheel well
Closer to accurate speedometer

Do NOT want brushing/rubbing problems./

Anyone done this and can recommend a size?

The larger diameter tires may fill the wheel wells a bit better but it will definitely through off the speedo. Rubbing issues may occur during compression or a full cabin of passengers. I would recommend sticking with the proper size.

Thanks Charles...still waiting to see what others have to say about compensating for the factory induced higher speedometer readings.

I think I am going to go with meyergru's recommendation of 225/45/18 and 255/40/18.

What tire do you all recommend for the summer? Looking at conti extreme contact DW
