eBay - wheel doctor

Hi,

I yesterday bought these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-INCH-BB...item1c325f64a3

It was very weird as yesterday I was sprawling the Internet looking at csl alloys pictures etc and came across this website

http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showth...t=wheel+doctor

I have called the guy to cancel my order and he talks a very good game

Bmw wanted exclusivity to these wheels to bbs make these alloys but do not emboss bmw onto the wheel or bbs onto the alloy but the part numbers are identical.

I told him about my cracked alloy and he told me that bmw alloys are now made in Italy and that is why they are cracking.

The guy talked a great game saying how he buys direct from bbs in Germany and that all alloys need to pass UK safety tests and no one had returned these to him due to cracking however a lot of bmw are sent to him for cracking repair.

Long and short of it, are these fake?

Looking for some alloys in UK and although you guys over the pond are selling a lot, nobody this way is!

Agreed they are not OEM CSL but are they BBS? Any way of telling?

If they were BBS I would be quite happy as the brand is good, chances are they are cheap Chinese knock offs?
