Shine On = VERY SHINY

I've just had Paul come and give my car the Shine-on treatment.

Took him and someone else the WHOLE DAY...that's right...TWO of them!!! My car was a state. He also did the black pillars roof of the Mini for gratis

OH MY GOD...you should see it!!! Flippin' brand spanking new or what

Ok, ok people...I get the hint!!!

I maybe should have waited until I actually took the photo's to write this thread but fear not...the eager wait is over

I have tried to capture just how deep a shine Paul has managed to achieve but regrettably I currently don't have any 'before' pictures. Paul did take some so once he emails them to me I will post them up too.

Before I had the detail, the car had just had the front bumper, rear bumper and lower side skirts re-sprayed - again, an excellent job by a company called Selby's in Nottingham who are my local Porsche approved body shop and came very highly recommended. For anyone in the East Midlands, I can thoroughly recommend them.

However, Paul really had trouble with this original parts of the car; the paint was very hard and he apparently took a fair bit of top-coat off to get this kind of finish. I can't stress enough just what a difference the result is......

Thanks! Good of you to say so.

But I think thats just because I got the tyres shinier?? Anyway, the pictures did look good from when I first waxed it but what they didn't show was how bad the swirls were in sunlight. And now...they're just not there!

Paul very rarely uses any tyre slick, unless the customer demands it. The reason is that the tyre shine stuff has a tendency to spray up onto the sides of the car, lower car does in particular, and makes a mess of the clean car...
