M3 rear guide rods upgraded

Hey guys, so I bought used M3 rear guide rods to upgrade my rear end and one of the rods came in without the rubber grommet that covers the monoball bushing. Do they sell a replacement for this or how can I fix this before installing?

EDIT: Not to confuse anyone, the bushing is in there only the rubber part that covers the bushing is missing.

Here are the pics to show what I'm talking about

these are a pic of the ones I got:

Cheap Fix:
Get someone to machine you delrin bushings and press them in instead of those.

Ideal fix:
As stated above, new trw's

well the monoball bushing is in there, only the rubber cover is missing. I don't think I need a new bushing, only was looking for a rubber replacement ideas

They fit on 5-series rear upper control arms. Look for something like that. Even this might fit.

It doesn't matter if it was free, if it was driven on for any appreciable amount of time without the grommet, the bushing might already be $&!# at this point anyway.

I see, I had someone check the bushing and it is very well lubricated and does not have extra movement. I think I'll find a generic rubber grommet and make it work.

Without the rubber boot you will get water and pebbles in the bearing and it will fukup in no time.

Here are a few typical layouts, Im pretty sure the M3 uses the teflon engulfed design and if you get micropebbles in there as the bushing moves it will scar the teflon and start loosening up.

Another cheap cheap fix is to take some gasket maker and make a new rubber boot, just lay the thing in circles around and around and let it sit. it will help somewhat.

One thing you don't reuse are suspension components, especially in northern climates that see snow. Get the TRW's or some better replacements from Turner with delrin bushings.

FYI: Those aren't the rear guide rods. They're too long and they have the ABS brackets on them. Those are upper control arms.

Damn, I think you are right. BMW tech told me these were guide rods. He confirmed by saying that the guide rods come only with the ball joint style bushing. I was wondering why it had a bracket on them.
I knew I should have checked the part number!!!!!

I decided that I will be installing these with an upgraded monoball bushing, anyone know where to buy these bushings?

It's called a rubber boot and it's not sold separately.

Press in a poly bushing.
