an M5 will Comprehensivley ANNIHILATE a DB9!

DB9 aint that much quicker than a 335d, and atfer a re-map i most certainly will be snapping at the heels of me Uncwah

[QUOTE=Hotcoupe;1756736]I'd stick with the 335D,once it's been tickled,it'll do fine.
Stonking performance and cracking MPG returns, what more could you want, well mmm ok,perhaps there would be somat

I agree with Ian, especially after the tickling.

He's on about that MPG again! I'm going down the M1 tomorrow so time to test this point me thinks.

Jason, I agree the DB9 is beautiful, my cousin has one but unfortunately it has not been that reliable for what it cost etc.

Good point Gibbo No not going that far, only to sheep country ie. Derbyshire for some Landy bits. I reckon I'm going to have to drive like an old woman to get decent MPG. Can't see it lasting myself.

Difficult one this.

I think I am in the DB9 camp too but there are many potentials!!

That said I have always wanted 3 series coupe and with a 335i M Sport on order I am about to get my dream car.

Agree with the other comments about 3 years - 2 years is the longest I have kept a car to date although I expect to keep the e92 for 3 years. Our company car scheme is 4 years - that'll be the cash alternative option for me then!

Jason, I agree the DB9 is beautiful, my cousin has one but unfortunately it has not been that reliable for what it cost etc.
Beauty and reliability are usually mutually exclusive in my experience. I was think about the ride, subtleness and experience

I agree Jason, but surely a re-mapped E92 335d is an exception. As with most things in life, the ride and subtleness come with experience. Usually find the older established marques provide these qualities.

1937 Jaguar SS100 and I'd then take the bus. I'm pretty damned sure I'd keep it for many more than three years, too.

DB9 methinks, its just too gorgeous not to want it...

If not that, prob a 911, nice looking, fast, reliable.

I couldn't live with something temperamental (one woman is enough)

I would probably have to go with the RUF Rturbo everyday usable but with enough flair to get some looks. Oh and did I mention it's faster than hell.

Probably an M5 touring, or maybe as RS4 estate.
Maybe a M535d touring for the fuel bills
