Sisco's e92 335i

Hey Guys,

Had my 335i for just under a month now , was originally going to buy another e46 m3 in manual, but the sale fell through & this one came up at a price I couldn't refuse

after coming from a e46 m3, clk55 amg & Porsche 996, I found the 335i a bit sedate & boring standard,

A few pics of my previous cars & 335i when I first got it

First call was to Jason & Euro division to change the oem 18" to Concave 19" CSL Style while I was as it ordered the M3 style kit,

Not really happy about how the front fit could use a 10mm spacer to flush it out a bit,

Then ordered online the JB4 from Burger & had it fitted (thanks Fossil)
Which made a huge difference from stock,

Next was ordered Front Mount intercooler via iForge, & the Catless downpipes from stuart@BMR

The intercooler arrived pretty quickly & install was relatively easy to install,
the only issue was the lower charge pipe hose clamp, which was a pain to tighten, was fine on stock boost but kept blowing off on map 1 or 5,

DPS were on back order so have yet to be fitted, should be fitted in the next few days,

Not really, would be on par with my m3 (which was also tuned) in straight line, but it's not as half as dynamic as the Porsche or m3 a rounds bends. No LSD doesn't help!

The 335i would say a medium between the clk amg & m3
More of a lux cruiser than all out sportscar like the 996

Nice stable of cars you have there mate!

I reckon if I had $200k to spend, I wouldnt buy a new R35 or M3 I would buy about 4 x $50k cars like you you've done!

What else is planned for the 335i?

My uncle was impressed my 335i kept up with his 997 carrera s, but it's certainly no match in the twisties, looks, cabin ambience, build quality etc etc

Downpipes should be in next couple of days, might add high flow secondaries, &quad tips, maybe get in on LSD group buy,
Still deciding what I want to do with intake, maybe dci,
This is my daily driver so Don't wanna go too crazy with mods, as we all know it can spiral out pretty quickly lol

Suspension will be next, m3 control arms & eibach springs, scared to lower any further as the rear is already rubbing slightly with 275 rubber

997 s or 996 turbo will be my next car,

Awesome selection of cars you have there, and welcome.

The few mods you have lined up will easily change the overall dynamic of the car in a positive way.

It should comfortably eat your e46 then.

M3 Kit Fitted

Pics of the M3 kit fitted,

The Front bar was a bit of a PITA to fit on my own,
as I was deleting the fog lights & using m3 style vents, all the factory brake ducts & oil cooler duct needed to be removed & the new brake ducts needed to be cut back a fair bit.

While the bar was off I also fitted the AFE scoops

Sidekirts was a lot easier removed & refit with 30 mins, they still need a bit of adjustment to sit completely flush

definitely gives it a more aggressive look and heaps more cooling to the oil cooler, and intake/engine ventilation.
