Wedge Tune

Was reading the thread below about the custom wedge tune

I wrote to Ken in the US to see if it is available here in Oz
Answer is yes

Anyone running the wedge tune? or know much about it?

Apparently not for the faint hearted

If your after an aggressive tune and have lots of mods it could work. I'm not a fan though.

No need to sell the JB4. I've had mine since 2010 and I couldn't do without the flexibility and features. Most people just struggle to get the JB4 settings right for their car.

I think i'll see how E85 goes first, even map2 is good enough for me right now. today it was a little wet, floored it in 3rd from about 50-60 and wheel spin at 100+ of course I know I shouldn't WOT but I just got the car back and couldn't resist

Don't know how the cars gonna put the power down with E85 and a Wedge flash ://

with my JB4 when I use 98RON I just set it to map2. E85 I set to map5 and do a couple of 3rd gear pulls (hard to find a road to do it on where I live tho )

Only other things I can think of that you can play with on the guage is menu10 and menu12. Have a read up on these, helps with wastegate rattle and also makes the throttle more sensitive and can help with cancelling out surging.

I am FBO with RB's & meth and have the JB stacked with the Wedge Flash and run between E50 and E70 and its all works together very nicely. Ken has sent a few tweaks based on feedback and logs and I highly recommend it.

With all of those mods, what power and torque numbers does your machine produce?

Me too Ady, looks like there is a heap of peps jumping on the Cobb/Wedge bandwagon quoting great buttdyno results but I can't find much by way of actual dyno results. Post em on this thread if you come across any

Saving for mods.. is a slow process
