e93 335i n54 cabin filter

Hi guys

Do you know where I can source an n54 cabin filter? The aircon is starting to smell funky and I am looking to DIY it.

I've tried looking on google and I can only find ones from ebay with shipping being the price of a filter :S

Please let me know if you have any good online sites for filters or brands you particularly recommend.

Cheers

Don't buy a bmw item from the dealer, buy a 'mann' filter. they are german manufacturers who are oem to bmw (they make the bmw branded filters)

Search ebay or buy from ecs, of if you're in a hurry try BMR autowerke in Sydney.

Also regarding the funky smell, that's a buildup of bacteria which a filter is not really going to eliminate.

Buy an autoglym A/C sanitiser kit:

Basically its a spray that you hook up to your A/C vent with your A/C on recirculate, and then you run the A/C for 10-15 mins and you set the autoglym to spray (works like a roach bomb by memory as in it sprays automatically)

Wow Amazon are so quick. Got it within a week!

I'll be installing this and will let you know how I go with the smell. If the smell is still there, I'll buy an autoglym kit.
