Aphall- I got the same info from BMWNA today as well. So my question is how does the Dealer know what ship it is on if BMWNA doesn't? Any insights anyone?

The dealers have what they call a Dealer's System which is different from what the 800 customer service people are looking at. It's a dumb dual database system, but that's the way it is.

Any idea what it means? Context is, "Your car is on the Hual Tokyo #ns3012 OX".

In another development, my SA has apparently left the dealership as his emails now bounce. NOT cool that I wasn't immediately contacted by someone else taking over. I've emailed the other internet sales rep as of last night but got no response, probably off today.

This is from the carrier company that manages the HUAL line... According to what this chart is saying, the Hual Tokyo took off about 3-4 days ago from Bremerhaven and is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme Feb. 6-7. COOL!

Hello to all,

This is ny first post and I'm glad to be among all of the proud BMW owners. This will be my first bimmer and I'm sure you all know how I'm feeling right now... the anticipation is nerve-racking. The payoff, however, is oh so nice!

Anyway, my order was placed on 12-30-06, and the car was completed on 1-06-05. My status is "En Route" as of 1-14-06 or 1-15-06, so I'm assuming my car has to be on the Hual Tokyo heading to Port Hueneme.

I cannot wait!! Although my '99 Civic Coupe has treated me well for the past seven years I'm ready to take a step up to the 325i (Jet Black, Sports Package, Power Seats, Burl wood w/Black leatherette interior). Going to keep it classy... 35% tint all around and debadging... that's it.

Come on Hual Tokyo... I'm hoping on that 2-5-06 arrival date... that would be quite a quick turnaround time (only about 35 days). Thanks for all the great information everyone! Honestly, cannot wait.

Welcome to the forum! Your situation is nearly similar to mine. I have a '93 Honda Civic, and for the first time, I'm actually buying a NEW car and so it'll be my first BMW. Jet black, Black Leather, Burl, but a 330i instead of your 325i. :rocks: Quite the upgrade from our Civics.

Another jet black 330 on Hual that's upgrading from a civic. The wait is killing me but its given me time to order all my car wash goodies and make tint plans.

Considering my 330i just completed production 1/9/06, I think I was darned lucky to make a 1/16/06 sailing date. I imagine that others completing production a few days before that date are on das boat as well.

Bet I'll be down at the dealer writing checks around the middle of February. Good thing, too as I sold my '99 SHO in early December, and I've pirated my wife's Tahoe, forcing her to share my 17 year olds dirty car. Her patience is running thin.
