Has this happened to anyone

A few weeks back i added Macht Schnell cat-less downpipe and Clutch Mod to my 335i.

I have noticed now that all of a sudden when i down shift from 6-5 ( around 80-90 MPH) ( 3000-3500RPM) I get a spike in RPM after the clutchhas been released and re-engaged and I get on the gas.( 3500-4500) it almost seems like i am spinning the tires, but i know i am not.

Could this be the clutch slipping? or something else? I have auto clear for codes on due to the downpipe and havent noticed any other codes.

I recentley updated the JB4 to 15C and just saw a new update going to to install that tonight

I am thinking of taking the car to the dealer and disable the JB4 would i have voided the warrenty on the car with the downpipes?

The car is a 09 with 16K have 3 year extended war on it
I have a JB4, DCI and Downpipes.

Just want to make sure if I take it in what i need to do so if it is something the warrenty will cover it.

Summer tires

I did post something however, it was more of a trash session about how I wasn’t shifting properly and this has nothing to do with me shifting make sense? So I have more background information
I will be logging then events today and posting them if I can get the same thing to happen just trying to get a better dialog with what could be the real reason

I'm confused by your post - rpms will go up when you downshift. Are you learning double-clutching and your timing is off or something else?

It is something else nothing to do with double clutching, shifting, or even the Clutch itself. A few other people have run into this issue as well according to the Speed shop near me. With the JB4 set on Map 5 the tune is always learning. So something got screwed up somewhere along the line. One of the fixes is to disconnect the battery for 10 mins, reconnect and that should fix it, if not the suggestion is to call burgertuning and have them re-write some of the code.
