Form follows function. Spend money on making it faster before making it look pretty imo, especially since you never see the engine.

That being said keeping the engine clean is the best way to make it look good, don't let dirt accumulate. I'd go for a metal strut bar over CF as well.

CF is just as strong as the metal one. But I am very very biased. I love CF.

I have a strut bar coming ... it the prototype GTSPEC one. I want the gruppe-m but its 2K ... so damn expensive. On my evo I had some small things that were functional but made the engine bay look better like a radiator cooling plate, Samco Hoses, Oil Catch Tank, Grounding Kit, and some CF covers.

What i've done and plan doing so far are the following:
Gruppe m intake, forge diverter valve, front strut, change all the bolts and nuts to flats.

I was thinking of picking up the Forge and the Gruppe-M ... the Gruppe-M is just sooo expensive (baller status for sure ....LOL)

I was thinking about having the Engine cover painted to match the car too.

Euro-spec has cf brake fluid reservoir, and ecu box cover pieces. I seen pics of a cf microfilter housing once before too. Not sure who made that one.

Definately get the forge diverter valve, it's PRETTY and the sound is so ENTICING. I choosed the gruppe M intake cause aftermarket intake just makes the engine bay so empty. Had to beef it up.
