Yeah, thought of that, but this car is my daily driver and don't plan to run aggressive all the time. So I'll just run S1 Aggressive from time to time.

Thumbs up

Thanks Rader for doing this. It was such a huge help to me. It made something very complicated seem more understandable. Thanks for the hard work and commitment. It is appreciated.

Sooo yeah NO idea where to put this but can anyone take a look at my charts I have no idea what I'm looking at and I know its nowhere near as pretty as other charts, but maybe someone can spot something I can't.

I'd love to know if its ok to move to Stage1 aggressive and if everything is running ok on Stage1.

Both are the same figures just one was done on excel the other on the vdyno. DTC totally inactive.

Again sorry if they suck

It would be a lot better if you could attach the files as either a txt or zip.

ok 1 sec. I'll put up the few I attempted.

I did 6 "runs" I think dl.4 or 5 was just normal driving.

When getting a log all you really need is just getting a single gear pull or two. You don't need to get the car driving normally(unless you're having an issue you're trying to isolate.)

As far as the logs go, you're having some timing corrections but nothing too serious. You are having some overboosts happening that's causing some throttle closures, that's something you'll probably want to take care of. Here's a thread on dealing with boost overshoots http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=792736

Thanks a lot truly appreciate it! Should have seen my first attempt at a log, I left it logging for like an hours worth of driving

Is the overboost/ timing corrections something a novice can do? I'm looking at the thread and while I feel like you'd probably be able to fix your car if given the same issues in 20 minutes. I'm guessing it will take me significantly longer

Also with the over boost/timing is that something you'd advise me to completely remove the cobb or not proceed trying stage1 aggressive until I'm able to adjust it within AP or are both these issues somewhat minor and can be dealt with over a couple of weekends of learning and playing with the ap software?

It's nothing serious or anything that could cause damage. It's definitely fine to do a little learning and adjusting while driving it. The timing corrections are nowhere near bad enough to be a major concern. The throttle closures are not that bad, and shouldn't be too hard to eliminate.

If you need ANY help just shoot me a PM and I'll try to help you as much as I can.

Ok quick WOT question.

I'm attempting to log a WOT log sitting around 2500 RPMs with my cobb in my hand I select data logging under performance, wait till I'm ready, hit OK, then I wait about 2seconds and floor it. Why is it not logging? From what I've read you hit ok RIGHT before accelerating

For some people depending on what channel you're displaying on the screen it has an issue with logging. Try viewing charge air temps and then press "OK" to start logging.

on my AP, displaying boost doesn't work when logging. I use IAT as my on screen display.

std default list and dont change to metric. basically ALL DEFAULT.
logging in 2nd is useless.
Do a 3rd gear from 1500 rpm to redline, shift and do part of 4th than STOP the logging. Start the logging just before going WOT. Of course disable completely the traction control and try to find a flat straight road in very good conditions.
What you saw in vd is probably failed logging from your part.
