Question $175 for 24W CREE High Power BMW LED Angel Eyes Bulbs

Is that a good deal?

The guy is saying that he can disable my daytime running lights for $35 more. If I can convince him to waive that fee, I might go with it. Also, is it bad to disable daytime lights? Are there any known issues with that?

As for DIY, I won't be able to.

Can you not turn the DRL's off using the in-dash menu? I know in mine its just a selection, like whether the turn signal makes 1-blink or 3-blinks when slightly depressed, but that may be a Canadian-car difference.

I'm running Cree's and like them, make sure it comes with a warranty though of 1 year. My first set had a bulb go out in 4 months. 175 does that include the install? Because you can get 10w for around 60, I believe 20w for around 90-100 I think I have seen on ebay. If it comes with a warranty, install, and he waives the fee I would consider it a fair deal.

I got 20W CREE led AE's from modmy3 for 100 bucks last week. Installed them a couple days ago. So far so good... They look great and the price was right (had GP Thunders previously). I'm sure they're Chinese made but the heat sink was large and similar to others on the market, and everything appeared to be well built. Not sure if they have a warranty with these, but I'm happy. Also, try and find someone else local to you that can code your car for AE's as DRL's for free.

Yup, installed. It's from an actual auto shop.

I got mine off of eBay for <$100. If you don't want the hassle of installing yourself, I suppose $75 for labor is not too bad

I'm from Canada, so I'll likely have to pay more than that

I'm definitely going to ask about the 1 year warranty.

If y'all have pics of yours, post them
