What Is The MPH Speed On A Wheel Alignment Machine?
Sup Guys,
Anyone know What Is The MPH Speed On A Wheel Alignment Machine? I'm getting a slight vibration when traveling around 65mph. Iris undetectable traveling any slower.

The speed is zero on a wheel alignment machine. Imagine the poor tech trying to adjust the tie rods with the tires spinning at 65 mph!
I think what you want to know is on a tire balance machine. It should detect any imbalance no matter what the speed is. Hunter makes a "Road Force" balancer which puts some load on the tire instead of just free spinning it. They seem to do a great job so try to get a balance done somewhere with the Road Force system. |

Agreed - get road balanced if possible. The BMW dealerships around here have road-force balancing equipment (though I think ~$100 for balance). Even so, I have had vibration issues that were not fixed by traditional balances, but were fixed with road balance.

I'm an idiot, I meant wheel balance not wheel alignment.
Is there any way I can edit the title of the post?

It may not be your tires that are causing the vibration. Do you have a lot of miles on your car, say 80,000 or so? It could be the thrust and/or control arm bushings that have worn out. Do you feel a slight vibration when you brake as well? Regards. |

Thanks for the feedback, but no. Currently my car is at 50k. I don't feel any vibrating when I brake.
