Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover. You have to call them to order it, as it's not on their website.

is that the same as waxing??
i already used compound wax and the bmw nano wax, all it did was make the car shiny. water spots are still there???
I read about the poli-seal and it doesnt say anywhere about removing water spots. |

What kind of compound wax are u using? A wax and a compound are two completely different things, a compound is made to cut out defects in paint and wax is for protection. The water must have etched the glass, but you should be able to polish it out, most likely need to use a buffer and a polish. Water sprinklers can cause some bad etching, have u inspected the paint under light?

+1 on Chemical Guys' water spot remover. It's paint-friendly so you can just rinse it with the hose. I live in a pretty hard-water area. It's always worked on the car for me.
If that doesn't work, there's a product called WinSol 55 used by professional window-washers that will probably do the trick. I've only used it on residential glass, but it's pretty effective. I wouldn't get it on the paint, though - you can actually feel it burning if you get it on your skin, so mask off the paint & wear gloves. And shoes with tops. And a haz-mat suit. |

1/1 distilled white vinegar & distilled water. It really does work well if you give it time to penetrate the water etch.
You could also clay the windshield if you haven't already. |

I would do as others here suggested and try the distilled water/vinegar. That turtle wax compound is some harsh stuff, definitely wouldn't recommend using it on your paint again, and I'm surprised it's not taking the etching off the glass. Where in NJ are you from?

finished off with glass polish and now i have a glossy look |

I think using a snow plow rather than your car would be a great start!
