Is there anybody here that has not changed any option since the original order ?
Hi,
I have added an option every few days since I ordered the car (maybe because in Europe the options are more granular than US where there are a few packages). Some say that this is not ok, I should have been sure about what I want from the beginning. How about you ? Did you order the car once and kept it that way ? Or have you added options after the first order ? |

I only changed colors after placing the order as my original color selection was not available once '09 ordering information became available. ...but then again, I basically had a "fully loaded" E93 in terms of options to begin with.

I haven't had the possibility to modify the options after the ordering, as it is a company car. However, since I have seen the new iDrive, I regret a (little) bit not getting it (i have done my order based on the 08 model, which I was initially supposed to get, and didn't think it was worth the cost). Anyway, as my budget is fixed, I would have had to remove some other options to get it. And, really, I don't think I can get rid of any other option.
One think I have completely forgotten however is the USB/iPod interface. I wonder a bit if it can be retrofitted (I think it can, but I'm not sure it's exactly the same one you get). I'm not convinced it's such a problem, because I can also burn MP3 on cd's; and also there are other solutions to play MP3 on a radio. |

Only changed from e92 to e90 when official pictures came out. I like the new look of e90 even better than the e92. Also I don't want be pissed when the e92 goes through LCI next year. Options stayed the same.

Logic7
I added Logic7 to my '09 335i sedan order after reading how much everybody hated the standard stereo system....

My initial configuration included only the Fold-Down Rear Seat option rather than the entire Cold Weather Package. When news of the Heated Steering Wheel being included in the ZCW package came to light, I changed my order to include the full package.

the only change I made was the color of the interior...I had asked for saddle brown..but for some reason days after my CA e/mailed me a copy of the order to make sure I was sure of the order I noticed that the leather was going to be BLACK!! I was glad to catch that error before the order reached Germany!!!

I dropped the premium pack and added Nav instead! The best decision I made during order process :-)

I dropped the Sirius satellite radio option on my '09 335i coupe. I just couldn't see paying $572 (with tax) for something I may not even use on a regular basis. Plus with AM/FM radio, HD Radio, Ipod integration, USB stick playback, AND a built in 12 GB hard drive, I didn't think it would be necessary. Plenty of entertainment already.
