Need some new car advice

So my mom is looking at trading in her 2007 328I for a newer 328 sedan or convertible. We have just been getting jerked around by all the dealer in San Diego and I am pretty pissed off that its this hard to give people money in an economy like this. Im just wondering if you guys have any recommendations or suggestions for me? We just want a white 3 series with nav, HIDs, and the keyless ignition for $600-$650 a month. Would it be worth going to LA to find a deal? Does anyone on here offer deals to forum members? I just wanted to check here first before I make an impulse decision like usual. lol

Keep looking around your local area, you should eventually find something. Are you trading in on a finance or is it a new lease?

One bit of advice. DO NOT go into a dealer and tell them what payment you want. They will get you to your payment eventually and you may feel pleased....they will rape you. Get the trade value. Get the selling price. Do the math. G/L.

I am sure there is more than one dealer in San Diego. Try some other places, shop around. Get smart on the numbers...

Its is a lease that is ending and just want to jump into a new one so not really any trade in value, hopefully just avoiding a down payment.

I guess if nothing else I am looking for tactics on how to get the best deal. Seems like they are also unwilling to throw "extras" in with the car to make a deal with satellite radio or ipod hookup, is that just the way it is or do I just need to keep shopping til I find someone that will?

Garage List
I got my car from Cunningham BMW in El Cajon, from Mike Cisco. Tell him Joe with the silver 335i coupe sent you.

If I hadn't paid for shipping from Oregon I would have paid only 650 over invoice, already with the 0.9. I never asked for anything extra because I believe w/ these cars that shouldn't be an option to resort to.

We finally were taken care of at BMW of Escondido, they got us everything except the HID headlights but because we didnt get them they made us an incredible deal. They went out of their way to make sure we didnt leave until we very happy.
