I literally can't believe that BigMotoringWorld bought THIS CAR from auction with it's engine in the boot and sold it on..

Unless I am misunderstanding something, this is the clearest indication yet of just how awful that company are...

I took my car to BMW to diagnostic. After diagnostic they ask two more hours for investigation. After them i was took my car to another BMW specialist and done head diagnostic by Engine specialist, and all independent or mechanics with wich i have spoken they saying tah it's hapened while incorrect settings, attempted repairs. And there is them report about damages what they found and whow they done them job.Would like to hear other opinion in this case.
Sounds like your car is fucked (again).

Did you buy it from a dealer or privately?

Hi
I purchased mine a week ago and it was running fine and has now started with the misfire.

It had a clutch and flywheel done by the dealer I had purchased it from.

It's throwing up mis-fires on cylinders 1-2. I have replaced the sparks and coils but it has still not got rid of the errors.

The dealer I bought it from has said he will obviously foot the bill and has extended my warranty FOC for 12 months.

BTW the car has full service history and has 80k on the clock.

Any help would be appreciated

Mine went in various times for the misfire but it never got cured, they did a software update, coils changed, plugs changed and a timing chain tensioner. I think it was cracked liners causing bad compression but I just traded it in against the 318d I've got now.

I'm waiting to see what Bowker think and then I might have to give the car back.

I'm gutted because it was hard enough finding a white BMW on a budget.

It's a shame really because you'd think the 320si with it's 'racing pedigree' would be bombproof, or that's what I thought when I bought mine

I've been told by Bowker BMW that the fault with mine is linked to the Valvetronic system which could cost over £1000 to put right.

I thought this didn't have a Valvetronic system.

Please can anyone correct me on this

RIP 320si

Some news
The dealer had come back to say the cars beyond repair.

But he's reluctant to give me my money back as he wants to source another for me?

What should I do now?

Going on the reputation this model seems to have I certainly wouldn't be wanting him to replace it with another one. Money back would be your best bet.
