Rediculous - going on 3rd pair of rear Michelin RFT, front still oem stock

I got 40k miles on my stock 2009 335i coupe. The front is still OEM factory stock right off the assembly line, 225/40/18 RFT Michelin are still 30% tread while I am about to go on the 3rd set pair of the 255/35/18 rear.

I opted to buy a used pair this time for about 200 bucks shipped with 55-65% wear. I calculate that all four pairs should now wear down to 0 together on the next change/cycle which is 6 months from now.

Hehe, this car burns through rear tires like a mofo. I'm going to try Pilot Super Sport next. with 300AA vs. 220AA ps2, I hope the PSS will do better on treadwear.

40k miles on the front is very good though I'd say.
