Vibration noise
at low revs when pulling away im starting to get a rattle vibration noise from it sounds like behind the clocks in the dash or around that area...
Any ideas anyone? cheers

could be anything, worth checking. I had a rattle on mine that I thought was the from the back seat/boot area, turned out to be the pillar where the seatbelt was. just fixed a rattle on my mrs Clio, I thought it was coming from the passenger front wheel, but was actually a lose spare wheel! go figure! |

If its a metallic rattle that could be under the bonnet, it could be the overrunning alternator pulley - it has a clutch in it that allows freewheeling in one direction to take up sudden changes in engine speed. When the clutch stops working, the changes in engine speed cause the belt to rattle the tensioner. Was doubtful when mine was diagnosed but a new one totally cured it. Most noticeable when pulling away and engine is cold.

i checked under engine and there was a cover just below window wipers to the left that was loose seems all good now well chuffed thanks every one.
