I heard around 541 by Lost Marine but there were massive tranny issues at that point. With nitrous is an irrelevant measure.

I doubt it will be that high, in fact I thought they mentioned it would be under $10k. The e46 M3 kit is so expensive because the S54 was not meant to be forced induction. Now if you get all the bells and whistles I can see it pushing over the $10k mark, but the single turbo kit will probably be at or around $8k.

Sigh. In a way this is sad for AT guys. Gotta factor several thousands more for a rebuilt tranny.

It may not be as bad for some of you automatic guys as you think. The thing with larger turbochargers over the stock frame turbochargers is the car will put down less torque and more horsepower. This will be essential when keeping the transmission alive

Thanks everyone. We will be able to target any boost and power level we want as we can swap turbos. Eric wants more than 500rwhp for his car so we are going to do this in stages. The 1st stage will be a small turbo (Precision 6265) that will spool very fast and still run on the factory direct injection. The 2nd stage will be a larger turbo with our intake manifold and fuel injectors and rail.

Before we can hit the dyno we need to build a strong engine brace support on the bottom of the car (right where the V-brace was). My guys will order up the metal tomorrow and we should have some dyno results later on in the week.

I can't post pricing on this thread but we already have pricing figured out.

Chris.
