General Exclaim UHP vs. Kumho Ecsta SPT

Which do you think is a better tire, General Exclaim UHP or Kumho Ecsta SPT? I'm looking to buy 19's.

I have 19" GE's on my e92. Rears went bald in 3k miles. The reason I bought the GE's is because I heard the Kumho's went bald too fast. Guess I can't win.

SPT's do go bald fast. Falken FK-452's are in the same price range and are a much better tire. Go for those!

There are a few threads comparing these tires, search for more info.

The Kumho SPT has a bit faster steering response and better dry grip, while I found the General is a bit softer riding and it should wear a bit longer as well.

Pretty equivalent tires but I would give the nod to the Generals for the slight price advantage.

You decide. I have the General Exclaim UHP on my M6 Time-attacks, and I have no complains They're great tires, just not for tracking.. so if you take your car tracking with these tires.. please save up for better tires

I dont understand why you guys say the SPT wear out fast. My tires lasted 20K and could've lasted more if I didn't have so much neg. camber. Only thing I don't like is they're pretty heavy.
