BMW Apps & iPhone 3Gs

Just wondering if your Apps works with iPhone 3Gs ?

I did have BMW Connected on my iphone & BMW Apps in Navigation system but it couldn't connect even by Y cable or Apple cable. There is no troubleshooting in the manual as well.
