Replacing shocks after 140,000. What car hardware do I need.
What parts do I need. I am not talking tools I can buy them anytime of the day. I mean what actual hardware do I need.
I have 3 options, Koni Yellows and HR sport springs. KW V1 coilovers. H&R Coilovers. Getting a Strut tower brace for any of them.. I have never changed shocks on a car but I just did the Intake Valves on my 335Xi so if you want some idea how incline I am to doing a job.. If I go coilovers. What do I need to do the job (any bushes, bumpstops ect). If I go with shocks and springs what do I need to do the job. |

I like my yellows very, very much....matched springs. Pothole harshness disappeared. |

At 150k miles you're probably gonna want to replace the bump stops and the upper and lower rear shock mounts. None of this is necessarily a must but you'll be glad you did it.
