Evaporator replaced, intermittent smell
Hey Folks,
I had the evaporator replaced a couple of weeks (under CPO thankfully) and I've noted an intermittent smell coming when I run the AC (which is all the time since it's Texas). I would say that it smells once every three days. Is it normal for the evaporator to take some time to break in. Is the smell related to the repair? Or is it something else? Thanks in advance! |

If they did any cleaning in the HVAC box, that could explain it, otherwise, no there is no break in for an evaporator.
