Congrats! My ED date is 9/20 and I can't wait. This is my first M3 and first BMW too, and I will probably keep it for a very long time.

I don't know for sure but I would imagine late October or early November for the E90. What ever it is, you might want to reserve early before all the spots fill up.

Happy I have my e90 M3, this one will be a keeper. Seems the end of the Na M cars will coincide with the end of the world in 2012.

My dream config for the E92 M3 is Silverstone on silver extended leather, all options, 6mt, and carbon roof.

Or, if I go the individual route, E92 M3 in green (the non-metallic one) with ivory extended leather and green stitching, same options as the non-individual one, except black grilles, tips, and wheels.

I must admit though, I haven't always liked the M3. However, that was when I was younger and didn't know and understand what these machines represent. I would even like to buy an E46 M3 coupe, but it would have to be 6mt, not the smg and have low miles.
Hang in there, dude. I was like you but it was more like DDS2003, then MS2005. I was just able to afford an E90 M3 after 6 years practicing orthodontics. I bought an E36 M3 for 6 years starting when the E46 M3 came out.

Dont worry man, just save your money! You always can go for a CPO in few years.

I just got back from my first ED trip. I knew my LeMans blue E90 will be one of the lasts. Whether that was the right decision will ultimately depend on how the F30 turns out.

I'm sure the new car will be roomier, more efficient, and better equipped. But my biggest concern on the F30 remains the numb steering on every single non-M models that came out recently.

Ditto for my AW E90. If the F30 is bigger/bulkier, I'm glad I made the decision on the E90, as it's just the right size for me.

+1 on the steering concerns.

Hard to believe I once dreamed about driving a BMW, finally bought one new only 3 mos. after the new generation hit the streets, and now it's 10 mos. away from the end of production. Seems like all of the new models are so generic and the Volvo XC90 nose is the latest design. 7, 5, X3, imho all flubs. 3 seems to be up next. And with the pricetag, why even bother. Time for a new dream that may also be a decade away.....PORSCHE. A lot can go right or wrong in 10 years, we'll see.

imho there are a laundry list of cars where the newer generation looks worse than the former, many Asian cars are like that (#1 recent one is the Acura TL--who could have styled that one?). But as of late, at least in my opinion, every BMW has looked worse than the one before. 7, 5, X3, they all look lousy. They have way more features and technology, and I suppose those who lease don't really care, but would you want to buy them? Not sure if there's anything that says the 3 won't follow suit.

The E92 looks outdated? Only to those who are keeping up with the Jones!

Just went to the stealership today looking to get a quote on a 2011 335is E93, was surprised to learn I could only order a 2012 (was misguided by AutoBlog before finding this thread). So the answer to your question is you can put in the order now but as shown in the first post it wont be built until September. In terms of prices, not much has changed at least for what I was looking at. Check out this link for full pricing/options: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=568229

How can the E90 end production without a short 2012 run? Do they have that much inventory to carry them until the new model is available?
