Microfiber Towel Question

I need to order some 16x16 Microfibers. I am ordering from Pakshak and they have 2 different kinds one is Ultra and one is Ultra-Plush, the Ultra is 2.95 a towel and the Ultra-Plush is 4.50 a Towel. What is the difference? should I get both?

i'd get a few of each. The Ultra's are great for taking off wax, polishing compound, etc while the Ultra Plush's are better at drying and absorbing liquids. I carry a couple of the Ultra's in my glovebox for accidental spills, quick window wipes or whatever.

Also does it matter what color I get? and what about Ultra-Smooth, Ultra-Fine, are they any good or should I just stick with the Ultra and Ultra-Plus?

color? Uhm no, why would color matter? Most of that ultra smooth, ultra fine stuff is marketing mumbo jumbo. You'll never have a need for it. Remember way back in the day we used to use cotton towels? Well they still work and if you know what you're doing they won't even make swirl marks

I'm an Ultra fan and love the thick, plush towels for everything. I have also color coded for certain uses. Z6? - I use blue Wayne's Towels Ultimate, polish removal? - green PakShak 16 X 24 Ultra' Plush, Z8 - Detailers Paradise Monster Fluffy (thickest one's I have). I know, I'm wacky!

I got a pack of 20 from Sams Club for like $9. They feel like all the other pricier ones Ive bought in the past. My car doesnt seem to notice that they are cheaper either.

Yes, the waffle weave towels are best for drying the car.

WWs are definitely the best for drying.

Pakshak has good towels. So does Exceldetail.com. He has some nice packages you can buy too.
