Damn wish it was in english. It's funny that they dynametted behind the side skirts.
I remember when I had SWS-8s under my seats, the side skirts rattled like crazy. |

I hope he likes it, BUT the Hertz 163 error has been made before. The 3" mid is much smaller than other speakers which fit into the E91 door. It will NOT play low enough to hand off to an underseat midbass.
The 6.5" is much smaller than other speakers which will fit into the underseat enclosures. I cannot say strongly enough how buying that kit for our cars is a mistake (see my posts on mineo77's car over on 1addicts) because the xover point from the 6.5 to the 3 is like 600 or 800 Hz! You don't want 600 Hz coming out from under your butt, folks. I've heard that kit in our cars, and there is plenty of gear out there you can get from people other than me that will sound better. The old Hertz 100mm 4" and Space 8" woofer would have blown this kit away in our cars (if they still made them!) Most US cars have a module where that amp goes, by the way. I think he should have left that well in the floor for tire chains and storage, and glassed a woofer into the side storage compartment But nice teardown pics. Makes me want to tear my E91 down when I do the iDrive upgrade... |

FYI easy to tranlate with the google bar
FYI easy to translate with the google bar
The google bar has a translate button its easy to use. Also its more one guys example of what he did than an installation guide although its pretty cool in that he did a lot of work an really had the thing apart. Last edited by ctuna; 02-18-2011 at 08:29 PM.. |
