6 GC

Had my first good sit in a 640 GC (the 4-door 6-series) over the weekend. And I wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be. Just feels a bit small and claustrophobic for a 5 metre long car. Roof was too low. Sitting either back or front seats, you actually notice the roof line getting in the way of your view. Centre console which extends all the way to the back seat was too big. I do like the car, but I can't come to terms with the idea of coughing up £60k on one considering it would be a daily driver. It feels like it is less practical than the 3-series for almost double the cost. If you only needed to look at the outside, it would be brilliant but the inside is stylish, but not practical.

Looks like it is back to looking at the BMW 535 or Audi A7 when it eventually comes time to chop my 330. Of course if an ex-demo 640GC were to come up £20k under the list price, that could all change
