I am in the process of installing a trunk mount. How do you all route your hose from the tank to the pump from the location I have my tank in the picture below. I will have my pump in the bottom of the trunk (where the jumper cables are in the picture). I can't find a way to get the hose from under the tray below the tank to the boot with the pump.

Here is where I am at now.

You would have to drill a hole from the panel from the tank and then snake it to the side to the pump...The trunk cover will cover it so it will not be seen anyways..

Hopefully someone can chime in with pictures. I just didn't see a practical place to drill at.

All you have to do is drill the gray plastic panel under the tank, and route the line under the carpet. Pretty much what CN55IC said.

To be honest, I was never a fan of the snow performance tank. The tap is mounted too high up and you basically lost nearly a 1/4 of the capacity of the tank.

That's why I went with a traditional 4 quart.





I lost less then 1 SQ foot of trunk space with this route. You could probably stuff a 3 quart tank in the same location as your current tank now and have the same amount of fluid and not have to worry about meth sloshing around and getting air too. You would be able to run that tank to nearly empty without the worry of air either. There is a give and take to every setup.

Hope this helps. I mounted my tank on the other side because I didn't want to take the chance of getting Meth on my amp.

If you look at my first pic I have already drilled through the gray plastic piece on the bottom of the tank and routed a line through. But under there it is sealed off. To route it under the carpet would mean it would be wedged between a metal lip and the carpet (which presses down pretty hard) and I didn't want to do that because it would most likely wear a hole in the line over time. I think I need to drill out some material (under the carpet) to make a path for it to the pump.

I'll try to take a picture later. I have my tank and pump in the same spots that you show. I drilled out part of the metal to allow the hose to get through.

I know what your talking about, and that is your call. I had my line over that lip for some time with another setup. Most people just go between the carpet and others just do drill across.

I cut out part of that metal lip.
