No. Weather probably has something to do with that.

I'm not. I think there are still very few people who have gotten the Dinan flash at this point. Further, I'm guessing they are just looking for a nice power gain and don't really care too much about drag strip results. Last edited by Driver72; 01-28-2008 at 10:44 PM.. |

+1. I think the majority of people that get the Dinan flash could careless about the drag strip results. I would love to see some, but it doesn't surprise me that we haven't seen any....

how about Gtech?
Obviously all the people that have Dinan tunes dont have a Gtech so how about we coordinate some borrowing those with a dinan tune and willing to borrow Gtech and post results please post what town you are in and those with Gtechs if you are in the same town, please meet up I'll take a Dinan Gtech result over the results we have now |

Not sure about these Dinan 335i's getting to the 1/4 mi. track yet, but I have been unsuccessful in coordinating runs with a couple local Dinan 335i guys.

Dinan guys tend to be fixated on warranties and avoiding risk at any expense. I wouldn't expect to see that breed at the track.

Get over the blanket generalization of the "Dinan guys". Eric - suddenly feeling very risk averse. '07 335i - Dinan Flash '06 997s '93 Sentra SE-R - 11.94 @ 117.851 |

I'm going to take my 07' Ford Escape to the dragstrip and officially run it, so I can have a sense of acheivement too...! A track is much more a "measurable" than any WOT run. Just cannot wrap my head around the whole dragstrip thing... |

Well, I knew that a stock 335i runs 0-60mph in ~ 4.8-5.0 sec. and the 1/4 mi. in ~ 13.6 sec. @ 105mph. So, after tuning my car with the PROcede (first v1.47 and then v2 of course), I used my Beltronics Vector FX1 accelerometer to measure the speed. However, I wanted to see the "official" measurable improvement at the track. I already knew my car was significantly faster than stock, but I thought running at the track would be fun! My goals were to run 13.0x sec. with v1.47...which I did. Then, with v2, my goal was to run <13.0 sec. @ 110mph+...which I did!!!! It's really as simple as that.
