Initialising the Sunroof

Can anyone remember how to do this on an e9x?

The sunroof has once again decided to park itself about 1/4" low. I thought it is just a case of motoring it all the way to the limits of it's travel to reset it. But that's not doing the trick. Is there something else needs holding down or pressing whilst motoring it ? Also I'm sure last time whilst doing this I got a warning the 'trap protection' was not active - but that's not happening. (But there are no other warnings.

Anyone got any ideas ? Many thanx in advance.

I believe if you hold down the sunroof button for 30 seconds it resets the sunroof by making it adjust to each position, then back to closed. Hold it down and let it go through all of the positions and close, then let go. Hope this helps.

Ah thanx 335iG, I may have missed the 30 sec hold bit. I'll try again later this morning.
