Sorry what's stage 2?

Performance mod wise i plan on, Charge pipe + bov, intake, catless downpipes.

Wondering what will really embrace these the best.

Also keen on a tune that has good safety precautions.

It really depends on what mods and power you are chasing.

The JB4 is good for all boltons until you go for upgraded turbos, meth or race gas. Then its recommended to go with a flash tune with the Cobb to get more control on your advance, Vanos, pressure in your transmission lines (for DCT).

The benefits on the JB4 are all the steering wheel control at your finger tips, as well as the tune and on the fly map switching. Terry's customer service is none like i've ever seen before- Super responsive and always releasing new maps and improvements.

There's a forum dedicated to JB4 support:

Cheers,

I do like JB4 as it's so well known.

well with certain mods you can run a S2 map...CAI Down Pipes FMIC ect... otherwise with out the supporting mods you have to stay at stage 1.. this is COBB talk but i think most tunes are the same in this regard.

S1 on COBB up to 26% gains over stock.. S2 think up to 40%+ over stock. Me personally S1 is enough for me.

I would reco a FMIC to anyone running a tune but that's up to them.

press DTC once to partially deactivate it, hold the button for couple of seconds takes it off completely. I don't advise you do this! they get real happy around the corners!

MAX TOQ comes on at 1.5K Boost starts at 2.5K or 2.6k... so you get that kick at 2.5

Why do i get the kick at 2.6 if max torque is at 1.3? i though 1.3 is when i would start feeling the rush seeing as it keeps torque from 1.3-5.0 or something?

hey guys,

I'll be getting a Performance lip spoiler (rep or not) within the next few weeks and i was just wondering if there are any reps that look like the real thing as some reps are similar but not 100% there, quality aside.

Go OEM, reps can often have inconsistent c/f weave.

The only reason i am hesitant is the $300-$400 price difference

This one is a jbspeed their high kick reps seem to be the 2nd best option after oem
