N54 clutch slave cylinder question

Alright so I determined I need a new slave cylinder for my
E92 335i and I search it real oem to get the part number and it looks different then the one I have now. Also on ecs tuning it shows a plastic slave clylinder and mine is metal. What is the difference between these two and will they both work just the factory one that came on my car is better quality and why can't I find the one that is on my car anywhere? Here are the differences between the two.
