n52 compression test issue

Today, my brother did a compression test on his E90 325i EU version.
so here are the results.

CYLINDER 1: 15bar(around 220lbs) spark plug clean
CYLINDER 2: 14bar(around 209lbs) spark plug dirty
CYLINDER 3: 15bar(around 220lbs) spark plug little smoked
CYLIDNER 4: 15bar(around 220lbs) spark plug clean
CYLIDNER 5: 14.3bar (around 210 lbs) spark plug clean
CYLIDNER 6: 15bar(around 220lbs) spark plug clean

What should be the correct pressure on the cylinders?
( the engine was preheat before the mesurements)

Cylinder 2

Cylinder 3

Cylinder 5

I'm not sure what it should be exactly but that looks good. How many miles?

the car has around 67k miles (107k km)
the problem actually is that he has to add a quart of oil every 400-500 miles!

Either a leak or valve guide. That's a quite a lot of oil!

Your sure its not a leak? I've never had an oil consumption issue on an n52...ever...even ones will over double those miles.

thats quite a bit indeed! He should be seeing plenty of blue smoke if its the valves or blow by.

Could it be a faulty head gasket (doubtful based on the pressure test results).

It could also be a faulty oil water separator this was pretty common with the M54 engine.
