New M3 wheels on 335xi?
Hey Guys,
I was wondering if any of you knew of anyone who had 19 inch E9x M3 wheels on a E90 335xi, I'm asking for a friend who needs to put rims on her car by next friday! Thanks so much for your help |

OEM M3 wheels likely wont fit as the offsets are too aggressive. the fronts may work, but the rears will cause issues.

whether it be the E90 or E92, many companies from the sponsors thread sell the M3 replica wheels. They will fit the car like any other reps like the M6 or CSLs. I believe SPP have the best prices. I need to order a set for myself (that is, when I have the funds).

The OEM versions would be a bit aggressive for your car but we do offer replicas that are in the correct offset for the E90 non-M cars.

M3 wheels will fit fine on the E90 and E91, but not the E92 or E93.
This is them on my touring... You will have to put 265/35/18 (265/30/19) rears on and 225/40/18 (245/35/19) fronts on as the M3 tyres rub the rear when fully loaded going over speed bumps, although on the Xi you will probably be fine as this is the size Alpina use and they use Xd springs on all their cars. So if you find a set of wheels with tyres try it before buying new tyres. The M3 comes with PS2 tyres as well and the ride is sublime compared to the OEM tyre set up, I nearly considered putting Xi or Xd springs on my car just to keep the nice ride. This is my car with the over sized tyres on from the M3.... |

Sorry to threadjack - but love your ride.
I'm trying to get my hands on a set of the 18" Gunmetal wheels, as well. So you've tried these with the stock tires and they do rub on the sport suspension? Do you think a little fender roll could cure this? Quote:

Another option is that we will be offering those 18" Style Gunmetal E92 M3 Wheels in a 19" version with E9X non-M offsets. ETA is later this month or September.

Here they are on an e90
As mentioned previously, front wheel / tire combo works fine (even with sport suspension). The rear is a little trickier. I swapped out the stock 265/40 for a 265/35 and also needed a minor fender roll to rule out rubbing.
