Hi,

Who all has used fscmap.com? Can anyone shed any light on how this site is able to obtain factory FSC navigation map activation codes?

I don't know how they did it, but it was fine for me last year...

I ordered late last night from them, they charge $100 for the code, you have to pay thru moneybookers... Still haven't gotten my code, crossing my fingers!!!

I just got the FSC Code from fscmap.com, they sent two, one for European maps and another one for North America.

Ok, done, it was easy and straight forward. Just as some other people have said it took close to 3 hours so i let the car running the whole time. Started updating at work then left and let it running when i get home.

Where did you get the 2011 nav disks?

Also wanted to chime in here and say I got my FSC code for the 2012 map updates through FSCmap.com and had no issues. Setting up and using Moneybookers to send money was the hardest part (and the longest part), but they have no choice since they are in Russia. Very responsive to email and I received my code within two hours of sending my payment.

I was going that way but I got stuck on the Moneybookers issue. I found another gentleman who also accepts Paypal. He was able to get me my code in less than a day. You can PM me if you would like his contact info.

It still works. I just used them last week for the 2012 update and it was fine. Website was working just now.

It's still not working. I can't download any maps from there.

Quick, maybe dumb question...

If you get the new maps (2012), get a FSC code from FSCmaps.com and do the install, with that affect your Navigation and Voice Command functions since they don't provide the FSC codes for those? Or, is the map update + FSC code specific to only the maps and won't affect the other functions?

It's specific only to maps. It doesn't affect anything else.

The map download doesn't appear to be working but there are plenty of links around in this forum to get the maps. I just meant that their web site still works and you can get the FSC code from them.

Has anyone used the FSC codes from either fscmap.com or some other vendor on a CIC idrive retrofit?
Or is that not possible?

if in your car is CIC retrofit, you must submit a VIN number to see the menu by clicking the CIC

there you will see the VIN number of the last seven symbols of the car is the CIC has been removed,you need seven sybols,that you could get the correct FSC code,
all other, which don't have the retrofit and all is original from factory-enough to look at the car registration document you will see VIN number, but needed only the last 7 symbols.
