2006 E90 330D rear disc wear
Hi all,
I'm after your input, especially those with pre-lci 330d's. I was doing a 'casual' check of the brakes earlier and noticed that the rear discs are worn right to the outer edge. I've never seen brake discs do this. I would assume I would have a 'lip' develop on the brake pads which doesn't seem a sensible design. Is this normal for the 330d? Thanks in advance. Andrew |

Well it's a pretty shit pic but you can just make out my lip on the outer edge of the rear disc.

The car had 50,000 miles on it when I bought it and the lip on the discs makes me think that they are the original discs.
I'll try and get a pic of them. Dave, The lip looks about 1.5-2mm wide on the outer edge on yours. Would you agree? Cheers Andrew |
