Sat nav help

I've never used the sat nav before but I am going to Flamingo land tomorrow so will need too. The address is Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 6UX but I can't put the post code into the nav. If I put the address in manually a road comes up called Kirby Misperton Road. Do you think this will ge me there ok?

That's just around the corner (bottom right of this map)

My (free on contract) mobile phone finds the correct address no problem and gives decent directions...

It will be signposted but your (ahem - expensive) satnav really should get it exactly right first time - it's a pretty major attraction after all!

I agree - TomTom, Garmin etc can get full postcode searching and flawless nav from a £100 unit - why doesn't a BMW option that costs far, far more offer the same facilities?

Postcodes go into the 'city' field. But you can only put 5 digits so its a bit poor.

Just put Kirby Misperton in as the 'city'

It should pick that up ok.

I always put the local town / village name in as 'city'. If there's more than one then it will give you a choice.
