Nyulak:

what rims did you get?? got any photos? The runflat dunlops you got are my first choice and I'm leaning toward the ASA rims.

I have pics at home on my Mac, but the lower picture is what I have. They aren't bad looking on the car, but I will post a picture of it when I get home. I would suggest leaving a PM for me after 6 pm, so when I get home I will have an easy reminder.

Thats what most people get are those ASA wheels with the Dunlops. I loved the Wintersport M3s I had on my Maxima. Do very well in the snow, and fine when its dry.

The 330i uses DSC to monitor tire pressures so no need for TPM sensors in the wheels.

I just ordered the wintersport 3Ds, should have gotten 17s and new wheels, but dont have the extra cash at the moment. So 18s and non runflat for me this year. Next year Ill get an extra set of wheels and Runflats so I am not stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck.

I don't know the current prices, but I got the ASA wheels shown in one of the earlier posts with the Dunlop M3 DSST tires (RFT version). The whole package was just over $1000, which is reasonable considering that most of the options cost more than that on these cars.

Considering that the roads are at thier worst during the winter months, this is the ideal time to have runflat tires. If you live in an area with pristine roads, more power to you. But I don't have the time to sit around waiting for tow trucks in the snow or freezing temperatures should I ever get a flat.
