shit happens.. the important thing is they are taking responisbility and paying for it. I would take that car strait to the SHOP and oder a lci front conversion. (LCI hood and LCI Mtech front) strait come up if you ask me!

There is no deductible because it is the Car Washes fault. You would only have a deductible if you had a Collision and it was your own fault. The insurance company will only pay for and replace factory OEM parts. They will not pay for upgrades or any other part that did not come with your car originally. You might be able to pull a "gray" market switch on the Insurance company if you can find a shop willing to replace the factory parts with aftermarket upgrades if you pay the difference. Shit happens and life is not fair. Look at it this way, you probably had some rock chips in the front hood and in the headlight. You will now have a brand new headlight and more than likely they will just bang out the hood and repaint it. IF you get the right shop, you will never know the difference. Check with your local BMW dealer to see who they use. BMW uses a special paint system for repair work. Also ensure the body shop that does the work has a negative pressure painting chamber, else you will get particles in the paint. If the car wash gives you any grief on the repair cost, make sure to take the vehicle to the BMW recommended body repair shop and 2 others so you will have the proper estimate amounts for the repair. The car wash possibly could send you to a "friend" who will not properly paint you car the right way.

In General, Belt driven car washes, that use cloth washing brushes, are Extremely well run, are safer for the environment than washing it in your driveway and can do in 10 minutes what would take you hours to accomplish. They recycle all water and soap and do not let it go into the public sewer system, as would happen in your driveway.

Just make sure the place that does the repair does GREAT work and do not sign off on any paperwork until you look at the car in the daylight with a fine tooth comb...

Insurance gave me 900 for a headlight..

Long hooked me up with a pretty sick bumper.. Went m3.

The car is back together and looks pretty good. Its about to get sprayed.. I'll post pics soon..

I'm selling my stock bumper.. Has a little damage from the accident, ripped clip. Pm me if anyone is wants it.. Ill hook it up for a cheap price. Also got the stock side skirts if anyone needs them.
