HID help!!!

Hi everyone,

I am planning to buy a depo xenon hid headlights from ebay, which will consist of my bmw 328xi 2009lci. What I heard from the seller is that the hid headlights assembly is E-marked, but he said he can't see any SAE/DOT stamps on it. Does that mean it is illegal to use them? or is it legal because it has E-marked? please help me, I found that item very difficultly. If it is illegal, I don't know how to get the xenon hid headlights for my car.

Any comments would be appreciated.
