Recommendation for bird crap?

It's not so bad right now, but for a while there my car seemed like a magnet for bird shit. I ususally used some QD spray I have in my trunk, but is there an optimal cleaner for this?

I haven't actually used it, but Poorboy's World Bird Sh#t Remover sounds like it is worth a try.

moist baby wipes

Mate,

Not sure if the brand "PAMPERS" exists like it does here in the UK.

Pampers is a brand of baby wipes here in the UK which I've found to be great at shifting fresh or dry bird cr@p off my car's paint work.

Been using for years as live on a tree lined road.

Effective + if OK for a new borns backside, it'll be OK on paintwork !!!!

Hope this helps......

I use my quick detailer, which is a mixture of Optimum No Rinse and water.

Anything like a specific 'bird crap, tar, grim, whatever' remover will most likely be citrus based, so be careful. It will strip off any protection already there.

Seeing you are in the NE, I highly recommend getting ONR. Works great as a QD and in the winter for washing your car. I believe detailed image has a good sale on it right now.

You must be very good if you can remove the bird sh#t from your paint and not dent the car at all

+1 on ONR. ONR seems to work best when the poop is still somewhat fresh but for the dried variety....Poorboy Bird SH#T remover will soften it enough to be remove safely without marring the paint.

Since you have a history with bird poop, I highly recommend you layer-up on your LSP/protection going into Summer. Bird poop can etch an unprotected surface in less than 15 minutes on a hot day.

OR..... Get yourself one of these and don't ever have to worry about birds being around your car EVER again!!!!!! Good Luck.

Poor boys world bird sh#t remover or honestly any quick detailer. If I were you, I would just get a really good microfiber towel and some bird sh#t remover and throw it in your car. Bird sh#t remover is just a hyper-concentrated quick detailer. Just let it soak for a minute or two and it should wipe right off.
