Newbie question, speed camera locations on iDrive.
Apologies in advance, I am new to BMW’s! I have been reading a few threads and it sounds as though it is possible to add speed camera location to the Sat Nav.
Is this correct? If so where can I get the data and how do I get it into the car. I have searched a bit but can find answers that I understand. Are there any other ‘creative’ things I do to my car, there are no such opportunities with Audi’s! I have, well have ordered, a 320d with Nav Professional. Thanks Jonny |

Hi there,
You can download the data required from http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/ however there is much more to it than that. You need to copy the files from the Nav Pro disk and edit many of them - then save the new files to a DVD-r. It is quite complicated. Alternatively you may be able to download a modified disk if you know where to look. If you do you need to be sure you are downloading a Nav Pro disk as opposed to the Nv Business - they use different disks. Tony

Tony, Thanks for your help. Where should I be looking for a combined Pro disk?
I have seen the term ‘Sergei Industries’ mentioned fondly on the forum but am struggling to locate an opportunity to download the whole Pro data. Go on, give me a clue. |

Hi Atariboy,
Sorry for the delay - been watching footie all day. Hints include "emule" and "torrent" I might get banned if I go into any more detail
