Do you mean the "Grocery Gripper" (Part # 82 26 0 153 360)? I had one on my E46 and loved it because the groceries didn't spill all over the trunk. Plus it is out of the way and doesn't need floor space like the cargo net or other solutions.

That being said, I ordered one for my E90 back in the beginning of December and still have not received one of the parts (it takes two part numbers, I have one but not the other). I asked the dealer about it two days ago they said it is still on national Back-order, so no pics to post, sorry. Please let me know if you have better luck with your dealer if you decide to order one.

Got the parts in last month and finally got around to mounting the holder last week.

It works well and is strong enough to hold a gallon of milk.

That's neat! What is the part number? DOes it involved any drilling?

The problem is that the grocery bag may not resist itself.

Couple of questions.

How much was the part and will that same piece (part number) work in the E92s?

  1. Grocery Gripper (82 26 0 153 360): $24.95
  2. Installation bracket (82 11 0 306 046): $11.50

The Grocery Gripper may be installed in:
  • 3-Series (E90, E91, E92)
  • 5-Series Sedan (E60)
  • 5-Series Sedan (E39) / Wagon (E39)
  • 7-Series (E65/E66)
  • X5 (E53)

The installation bracket is required with E90, E92, E60 vehicles.

For the E90/E92/E60 installation: three 5/16" (8 mm) holes need to be drilled in the rear deck sheet metal.

It feels solid once installed; not restricted to light loads.
