2008 BMW 335I  [7.02]
Got bored with the Pre-LCI tails on my E92 so I changed them a bit

Used a clear red vinyl for the lower part of the lights to give them a more modern look.

Excuse the emblem less badge, cold winter made it fall off... (fail) New on on its way.

Start to finish took roughly 1 hour. I'm pleased


Best $15 mod, I think.

Thanks, At one point in time I had the car completely back to stock. I was planning on selling it for a Mercedes CLK55 but figured i'd keep the 3-series. long story short I sold everything before I made up my mind and now i'm starting from scratch.

Hey Ant did that to his e92 awhile back. I think it looks cleaner on white cars though. the stock pre-lci red is too bright on a blue car in my opinion. Maybe if the whole thing was like 10% darker shade of red...

In person it looks much better, like I said i'll have quality photos up soon. IPhone just isn't cutting it

Looks great and I like to call these the poor man's lci.

I'm not calling the OP poor but it's such a cheap mod to change it up without spending $500 for the lci's

haha I know what you mean, its hard to beat for the price. To me it freshens up the rear a bit.
