Give it some time:
a) maybe he hasn't seen that more than 12 people are interested.
b) he may be able to do only 12 but wait for him to confirm.
c) may want to wait anyway in case someone gets bumped off for not paying.

I'd like to think that he wasn't ignoring questions intentionally.

on that one. Come on man what happened? So ok the seller doesn't accept
paypal but I assume he does accept a credit card right? Why couldn't you
keep the money and charge this on one of your credit cards?
