Repaired a loose connection on the Parrot, cleaned the sticky ribena marks off the piano black trim (my 3yr old lives ribena), applied X2 coats of Collinite 845 and prepped the winter set, should be fitting them this weekend.

Got a new boot spoiler delivered. I bucked the trend and went for the AC Schnitzer style spoiler rather than the M3 one most people go for. Just got to get time to fit it now...

Ignored it and drove a 2003 Skoda Ovtavia 1.9 tdi up the mountain roads full of snow in Brezno, Slovakia! What a blast! Knowing that I will not oversteer into a ditch!

Filled up my washer fluid and noticed that my boost hose on the intercooler is caked in oil and there is a small collection of oil on the undertray.

Guess its time for a Forge silicon hose.

I kerbed it like an idiot. Trying to do a quick U-turn and forgetting how useless the E90 turning circles are, I didn't want to hold up traffic by reversing.

Diamond cut wheels are a pain in the wallet to refurb

I havent refurbed my wheels yet but I've done similar.
First time went to pull out of a car park not realising there was a curb to my left. Curbed the rear left.
Second time rushing around a corner and fiddling with the air temp gauges curbed the same wheel.

Real F**k!!! moments.

Replaced the plastic T piece joining the vacuum hoses on the diverter valves after it shattered in my hand, (on sat morning) trying to get the DVs off.

Reconnected aftermarket DIY hoses from the DVs to the Vargas inlets I've had fitted.

Properly secured the 3.5bar TMAP sensor after losing a screw last week.

Drove the car today with the cowl off and no boost so I could get to work and pick up the T connector. Horrible feeling!

Indeed! I think I might just go for a refurb all round and lose the diamond cut (as good as it looks). I'm thinking shadow chrome or gunmetal grey.

I know it won't look as good but it's easier to keep on top of and cheaper to repair if I ever have a dumb moment again

Yeah, I'm still on stock 225M wheels so instead of dpending money on a refurb I think I want something similar to Forgestar F14 rims now. A super concave CSL style.

Like this guys:

I just can't decide if I should go for looks or super light weight alloys for performance?
