I thought the pricing your signature looked familiar. I bought mine while I was in Ramstein as well. I was there 05 to 08. Leaving for Spangdahlem in a few months. I miss the Autobahn and Ring....
So we were are Ramstein the same time. I was there from '06 to '09 before coming here.

I have always been into detailing but detailing with a paint correction process is fairly new with me. I still have a number things to learn.

And one thing I love about this forum is the wealth of knowledge everyone brings to it. Everyone does some amazing work!!

Right on. I work in vehicle maintenance. I was 435th VRS over there.

I have been the same way about detailing. When I got my second black BMW I came full circle on detailing.

Paint correction is an art. There is more to it than just buffing paint.

There is a lot of knowledgeable people on here.

I'm in Ammo. Other there though, I worked up at the wing doing inspections and readiness. Planned all the base exercises. In Ammo here now though.

You got that right about paint correction. It's definitely a meticulous process. I'm sure I could learn a lot from you though. A friend of mine detailed while we we're in Germany and I helped him as much as I could. Now do it on my own. Just doing my own ride.

If I recall correctly does the name Brett Lally ring a bell? That kid was a moron. I was mobile joe over there and was always coming out for mobile calls.

Let me know if you would like to learn a few things about paint correction.

Oh ha ha, yeah, Bart Lally. His wife was hot but she was a moron too. We had a number of morons over there. Have a number here too. I guess Ammo has to have a quota of moron positions filled.

I'm always down for learning new tips and tricks. I spend a lot of time on the "wash, wax and detailing" forum here and on autogeek.net. My biggest barriers are time and supplies (and knowing what items to get) and funds to buy them.

Yeah that's him. I heard the same about his wife as well.

I am on the Autogeek forum with the same username as here. I also buy all my supplies from them as well. Time as well as knowledge and experience are the biggest factors when it comes to serious detailing. Without one you can't wing it.

Thanks. Can you post a pix? I think I figured out how I want to have it painted. Going to drop it off at the paint shop after I find some M3 hood struts.

I only have terrible phone pics.. let me see if I can post from my phone. I painted same color as car but left the vents CF.

*edit*

Here's my shoddy photo... don't mind the fact I never put on a new BMW emblem either...
